Piebald by heartmurmur. Wonderfully bold and colorful artwork of Merlin's King Arthur.
The Greatest by bironic was part of the Fandom Trumps Hate fundraiser, and it's a pretty marvelous view. Described as "a celebration of some badass characters of color in recent science fiction, fantasy and horror TV and movies," these are largely very recent. However it's lovely to see so many faces and roles in it, which I doubt would have been very easy to do 10 years ago. Much more about the vid at the link.
Meeting the Minister by magog_83. "The new Muggle Prime Minister meets the Minister for Magic. In this case, Minister Merlin is VERY KEEN to meet the new PM ;)" Cute and hilarious, with two sequels. All I can say is poor Gaius...
Echoes In Our Minds by Cristinuke and Nonymos. "Steve Rogers is struck by a persistent headache as the dawn rises over DC. So are—simultaneously—Natasha Romanov in the Muscovite night, James Barnes in the dull grey of a Berlin afternoon, Tony Stark stumbling out of his Afghan cave, Bruce Banner in the crushing heat of the Nevada desert, Clint Barton squinting up at the Vegas lights, Loki Laufeyson under the Scandinavian sun, and Prince T'Challa amidst the West African rainforest."
A Marvel Sense8 fusion, this does a remarkable job of adjusting characters where needed and giving the group the most logical of enemies for the most sensible of reasons. Whether or not you've seen Sense8, it's a well told story with characters you want to see more of.
got guns in my head (and they won’t go) by bysine. "Being roommates with James Buchanan Barnes, formerly the Winter Soldier, has been a vast improvement. Notwithstanding the part where people openly take pictures of Barnes (and consequently Peter) on campus. Or random people poking Peter in the back during lectures to hiss, are you really the Winter Soldier’s roommate at him. Or remnant HYDRA operatives kidnapping Peter in order to lure the Winter Soldier out (which, really, is too many levels of stupid for Peter to handle)."
An amusing and sweet gen fic, Peter Parker learns to depend on others and come to terms with his demons, just as Bucky may be as well.
